All parents will not be allowed in the school to keep extra exposure to a minimum for our kids.
• Temperatures will be taken at the door for teachers and children alike. Anything over 99 degrees will be considered a low grade fever and your child will not be allowed into the center. If your child has temperatures over 99 degrees for 2 days or more, you must quarantine unless you can bring a negative COVID-19 test result. Teachers have the same temperature reads to signal sickness which is 99 degrees.
• If your child displays any symptoms of sickness, you must come and get your child within 30 minutes and they will be quarantined to another part of the center. Sickness symptoms are as follows:
• Low grade fevers over 99 degrees • Nausea • Diarrhea • Loss of Smell • Lost of Taste • Cough • Chills • Fatigue • Muscle or Body Aches • Headache • Sore Throat • Congestion • Runny Nose • Vomiting • Trouble Breathing • Pressure or Pain in Chest • Confusion • Inability to stay awake or to wake up • Bluish lips or face • If sickness or symptoms lasts more than 24 hours, a quarantine is mandatory.
• As soon as your child enters the center, they will be required to wash their hands. This will be a constant through the day as we always do. Before they leave, we will have them wash their hands.
• When dropping off your children and picking them up, parents must wear a mask. When getting the kids from you and bring them to you, we will wear a mask.
• You are more than welcome to bring a mask for your little one. I will not mandate that they wear it or keep it on if they are uncomfortable.
• Teachers have a choice to wear a mask but language is developed by children being able to watch our mouths and learning.
• Please ring the doorbell (DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR) when you have to drop them off or pick them up if we haven’t recognized or acknowledged that you are here.
• No Denny’s to keep exposure to a minimum. Please pack your lunch for your little one. We will provide snacks for the morning and afternoon.
